My German linens are wonderful for those who suffer from nasal allergies. They are gently used, high thread count, and many are intricately hand stitched with embroidery, filet lace, bobbin lace, and crochet patterns. These lovely linens can, and indeed were "boiled" when laundered on the German washer's "boil" cycle. I could not believe it either! It is a true testament to the quality workmanship and fine fabrics. The high temperatures don't harm the linens and the little "creatures" who cause nasal allergies are destroyed in the process.
